Säkylä, Finland, April 24, 2018 – Westpak Oy Ab has recently purchased an HP Indigo 20000 Digital Press which will be fully installed by end of June this year. Westpak plans to grow its business and add new customers to its roster by offering more flexibility and opportunities with short runs variable printing. As part of its transformation to adopting new technology, Westpak purchased the HP Indigo 20000 to build on its existing High-Resolution Printing capabilities. The HP Indigo 20000 is a mid web press for high capacity and versatile production planned for printing flexible packaging.
Westpak points to less start-up waste, ability to print on a variety of materials, less cleaning of printing tools and reduced use of solvent ink as just some of the many benefits of HP digital printing technology.
With the intent to use the new press to primarily serve the food industry, Westpak also plans to build out a network of designers and content producers to offer its customers a complete solution to their packaging needs.
